NOTICE
The images shown on this Web page were created by me, Phil Howell. They may not be copied or used in any way without my written permission. I can be reached by using the e-mail address shown on the Contact Us page.
Icabod is drawn based on measurements taken from photos and/or video images of actual athletes. He is a stick figure so he can display both sides of the body (left and right) at the same time, and can allow you to view items normally hidden by clothing. Icabod can be drawn to accurately represent almost any element of technique and style, and any failure to accurately portray those elements is my fault. I gladly welcome any comments or suggestions that might help me improve Icabod's presentations. |

"RUNNER A"
This study consists of 20 frames based on measurements of outstanding runners. The frames define 1 step and are seamed together to provide a continuous animation of the subject's running technique in slow motion. The frames can be viewed in three different modes:
Manual mode displays a single frames, then uses the <<First, <Prev (previous), and >Next buttons to change frames. Slow Loop mode presents this page, the entry point to this study. Fast Loop mode presents the animation on this page, but moving twice as fast. It also displays technical notes about the animation. The Exit link returns you to the Video Study page. |
